No. Whether you book the maximum of 6 guests or just for a single person, you have exclusive access to the Treehouse and the entire property for the full duration of your stay.

We'll have Chittering Heights ready for you at 3 pm on your day of arrival. Please be sure to head out before 11 am on the last day of your stay, as this is when cleaners will arrive.

Chittering Heights does not have air conditioning due to the style of the building and the tall cone roof rendering in unnecessary at nearly all times during the summer. The house also sits high above the ground on the hilltop and receives cross winds. In the case of extremely hot weather, we have several large fans and large windows that open onto decks.

• All cancellation or change requests must be done via email.
• You may cancel or amend your booking for any reason up to 7 days prior to arrival. However, this will incur an 8% administration fee.
• No refund is payable for cancellations for any reason whatsoever after the Arrival Date.
• Less than 7 days' notice: no refund available, unless evidence of exceptional extenuating circumstances is provided. We recommend you gift your reservation spot to a friend or acquaintance instead.

Chittering Heights provides no catering but has flexible dining layout options for your own provisions.  Small transferable tables and chairs are situated on the outdoor decks.  Feel free to move or join these tables to suit your dining requirements.

This venue is not suitable for persons under 16 years of age, unfortunately. The elevation of the house and the unguarded interior spiral staircase pose a risk for the younger ones in your family, so please do adhere to the age restriction when booking guests.
